Summer vacation is finally here! I am so excited for all of the things we have planned this summer for our family.
Because my kids are teenagers now, it seems like their summer is already full with camps and practices.
The older my kids get, the faster the summer goes. Maybe that is because they have their own things going on and don’t need me to entertain them all of the time!
But I don’t want the summer to go by without spending some much needed family time together. So I have come up with this year’s family summer bucket list to remember the things I want to get done this summer.
I find if you don’t plan things, sometime life just moves on without you. Before you know it, you will be shopping for school supplies and clothes. You’ll wonder, “Where did the summer go?”
This family summer bucket list has a twist to the ones I usually see online or on Pinterest. I only added things that you can do in a small town or while living in the country. I didn’t add things like go to a museum or the zoo, because we don’t have those in my small town. I think most small towns have a county fair, swimming pool and bowling alley, but if not, mark those out and add your own plans to the list. In fact, that is what the bottom lines are for – add your ideas or unique opportunities.Get the summer bucket list to keep your kids busy even if you live in the country. #summerClick To Tweet
